The late German philosopher Theodor Adorno said of Endgame ‘To understand Endgame can only mean understanding why it cannot be understood’.
In that vein, I did not understand it at all. Or maybe I did. Who knows. Adorno wrote a critique of Endgame longer than Endgame itself so screw him and Beckett too.
