Dune (Dune, #1)

Frank Herbert | 1965 | ★★★☆☆
Read: February 4, 2021

Dune is gripping and difficult to fault. The world it exists in is complex and humanistic, such a society focusing on the scarcity of water is extreme but believable. Herbert treats you as an intelligent reader, leaving you to read between the lines of strange words and traditions. It’s just not inspiring.
