Chung’s short stories are well ordered, with stories spanning futurism and mysticism contrasted against each other. Her writing manages to be funny amidst this all, and the language is simple and biting.
The stories here seem more like fairy tales, or dark fables for a modern age. They feel timeless and relatable.
